Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I have taught several thousand students over the Blackboard platform, and I am absolutely confident they will screw this up. I predict that to enter a grade into BB via your iPhone you will have to go through seven screens, enter your password three times, and reset your iPhone twice.

If you take a look at the reviews on Itunes they are overwhelmingly negative, one and a half stars from 1622 ratings last time I looked.

It seems like a worthless application. It just gives users updates (but doesn't relay any details or information) and allows them to access forum posts and content through the Safari browser on their phone, which they could do anyway.

Merci mille fois! Thanks a million for expressing exactly how I feel about WebCT. As a university instructor teaching ESL, I was required to use WebCT for an online course. I found it to be clunky, non-intuitive and labor-intensive. Its interface is, at the least, aesthetically challenged, if not downright ugly.

I, too, balk at hiding my course content behind an LMS. I want to make all the cool things on my syllabi available to anyone who can use them.

I happened upon your site when Google-searching instructional uses of Twitter. You've given me lots of ideas. Keep up the good work!

Just curious if the link is supposed to direct us to a call-for-papers rather than something closer to blackboards and those wonderful, yet oft-times irritating, iPhones.

Cheers,
