All universities have a video surveillance system implemented across their campuses…..Just because this uses a different technology to distribute the video doesn’t make them “big brother”.

I think the issue here is that Blackboard would centralize all of campus technology and surveillance in one place. But more to the point is that rather than following the mission statement of fostering learning on campuses is that Blackboard is now moving towards “policing” a campus. I for one like to keep my police separate from my educators.
