If you are a student determined to stay on top of this semester, the unofficial apple weblog, points to Funkwares Task List a program designed to track all of your assignment needs. There are several other apps out there that do similar things, but this seems to be one of the most full featured, and it is free.

Another application worth a try for practicing memorization is Genius. Think of Genius as a design your own flashcard program. The program will also run the cards, and learns where you need to review more, playing to your weakness to maximize study time. Highly useful for foreign languages, and memorizing equations, not so useful for the humanities. (Sorry PC folks both are Mac only.)
