Scrivener (note the spelling) is excellent, and due to made public within the next month or two at $35 US. Note that the icon you show here is for a previous (and now free) version called Scrivener Gold. The new improved Scrivener is so much better and feature rich that anyone who finds Scrivener Gold useful would foolish (IMHO) not to buy the new version. Scrivener is a tool for writers and leaves the fine details of formatting for word processing and page layout programs. If you are not used to the difference between the two, the utility of Scrivener may surprise you (and help you to write!).
