		<description>As an IT person who supports faculty members, I can&#039;t stress enough how insightful this series is. 

Too many faculty members do not manage their mail unless you consider a single humongoid inbox as &quot;managing.&quot; Most of my technical support has nothing to do with technical problems; I spend most of my time teaching people how to use e-mail or explaining concepts. It&#039;s very easy to be overwhelmed by e-mail if you do not have any idea how it works or how to use it as a tool. 

Please...for your sanity (and your IT guy&#039;s), digest this helpful posting and make e-mail a tool instead of a stumbling block.</description>
