Chatting with Students

Michael over at This Digital Life had a post which intrigued me this week. He wrote about using Instant Messenger to talk with his students. He cites several reasons this is successful. The general philosophy seems one that I support: communicate with students in a medium they are used to. I have never tried this, but Michael’s post has definitely sparked my interest. Perhaps I will try it in the future, and than do a write up about the “tech.” In the meantime check out This Digital Life and his thoughts on IM.
