		<description>The best way I can think of is to copy the database in the Finder menu, and then zip that copy using apple&#039;s built in file compression.  Let me know if you need more explanation . . .</description>

As a side note I use Supeduper to backup my whole hard drive.  But backing up Devon also in a small portable format makes me sleep easier (or leave my house easier, knowing the data is avialable in several places).  Actually I am going to be really nuerotic about this and upload the zipped file to a remote server as well . . .but this is just an obssesion.</description>
